ITINERARY  

  

Day 1 – Wednesday 9th October – Arrive at Dublin 

Arrive at Dublin Airport and take a 20km taxi ride to Dunboyne where we will meet you at our hotel,  the 4* Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside.  

(For those flying into Ireland let us know your flight details and we may be able to assist you with a taxi)  

6pm - Meet at the Hotel lobby for Welcome Dinner  

Day 2 – Thursday 10th October – New Grange, Knowth and The Hill of Tara  

After breakfast, we meet for our minibus ride to New Grange, Knowth and Hill of Tara. 

Evening and night at our hotel.  

Day 3 – Friday 11th October – Lough Crew and Four Knocks  

After breakfast we drive to LOUGH CREW. Afternoon we visit FOUR KNOCKS megalithic chamber. Evening and night at our hotel.  

Day 4 – Saturday 12th October – Uisneach and Tlachta (Hill of Ward)  

After breakfast we visit Uisneach, Tlachta (Hill of Ward). Evening and night at our hotel. 

Day 5 – Sunday 13th October – Book of Kells and Trinity College Library Experience  

After breakfast we check out from our hotel and make our way to Dublin City. We will visit the Book of Kells and Trinity College Library. We will then Fly to Glasgow for our next adventure in Scotland.  Overnight stay in Glasgow Hotel.  

Day 6 – Sunday 14th October – Loch Lomond, Isle of Iona  

After breakfast we begin our journey to the Isle of Iona and visit Loch Lomond on the way. Evening dinner and night on Iona at our hotel.  

Day 7 – Monday 15th October – Isle of Iona  

Full day on Iona.  Evening dinner and night on Iona at our hotel.  

   Day 8 – Tuesday 16th October – Isle of Iona  

  Full day on Iona, weather permitting, we will take a boat to the Isle of Staffa.  Evening dinner and night on Iona at our hotel. 

 Day 9 – Wednesday 17th October  - Isle of Iona

  Full day on Iona.  Evening dinner and night on Iona at our hotel.  

  Day 10 – Thursday 18th October  - Edinburgh

  Check out of hotel and travel to Edinburgh, visit Loch Awe Church. Evening and night in Edinburgh at our hotel in Royle Mile, Central Edinburgh.    

Day 11- Friday 19th October  - Rosslyn Chapel & Edinburgh Castle

Today we will take a bus and make our way to ROSSLYN CHAPEL. On our way back we have the option to visit EDINBURGH CASTLE. 

 Our evening celebration - farewell dinner at the legendary Witchery Restaurant which is nestled at the gates of Edinburgh.   

  Day 12 - Saturday 20th October  - Departure

  After BREAKFAST we say our goodbyes This is the completion of our journey together.  

Make our own way to the airport. If your flight’s departure is later, we may ask the hotel to hold the luggage for you.

  Full price is €4400 Euros per person/sharing  

Final payment by September 3rd, 2024.

 If you wish to join on only one destination, the calculated cost below are based on having enough participants.

Cancellation Policy  

The 50% deposit is non refundable.  

A refund of 50% of the total cost of this trip will be available if cancelled up to one month prior to the start of this trip - 9th September 2024.
